Whole quails are an excellent whole prey food. They make for an ideal snack or treat for large dogs and will be a complete meal for cats, pups and small to medium dogs. The fur and feathers on the feathered whole quail also acts as a natural dewormer, and the meaty bones act as a natural toothbrush to achieve great oral health.
Quail is one of the leanest types of poultry and is a great alternative for pets with certain poultry sensitivities. Great for providing protein variety in the diet and makes for an excellent addition to your pet's protein rotation.

Moho our younger daughter is a 1.2 year old rescued IND who came to us with a host of digestive issues. She was the runt of her litter, and when we adopted her from the family who rescued her, she was painfully thin and could barely digest any protein. That was a year ago… Thanks to all the different varieties of dried, dehydrated, poultry & sea food HOC offers; she has come this far with an improved immune system and a healthy appetite. She loves her skinned quail to the point of being extremely vocal and demanding about it. We have been ordering it on repeat ever since we first got a batch almost 6 months ago…
It’s our younger one, Moh’s favourite!
She came to us at 1.5 months - underweight, malnourished, with a compromised immune system and severe gut issues. The only food she could keep down was rice, chaas, chicken broth, and nothing else. She did love bananas in tiny quantities and the occasional raw green bean or a few pieces of apple.
We started her off with the quail at 6 months of age after researching on how to improve her gut health. This product really changed the game for us. She also loves the quail cookies!
Moho is now 1.5 years old, and is able to digest both pork ear strips as well as beef trachea given once or twice a week. We give her the whole skinned quail thrice a week for breakfast and she literally inhales it!
Needless to say, HOC is the best thing that has happened to both our girls - Moh & Maya
